Kelly IT Resources on behalf of its client, a major western FMCG, with a strong presence in Russia is searching for Siebel Analytics Development & Validation Manager

POSITION PURPOSE
Design or/and approve the detailed technical specifications for Siebel Analytics (OLAP) solution and interfaces with 3rd parties’ applications;

  • Verify and validate the enhanced components of Siebel Analytics (repository, dashboards, Siebel Answers, iBots, Siebel Delivery); research and regularly advise on optimizing the application code performance;
  • Work with Business Analysis team and external development team in order to ensure that the configuration and customization meet business requirements and performance baseline;
  • Ensure that Unit, Integration and Performance testing is effectively planned, executed, integrated and reported; testing cases are up-to-date and well recorded;

  • Implement and maintain Company Siebel Analytics (OLTP) development guidelines & methodology, collaborate with Company IT parties in order to timely plan and reflect changes originated by upgrade & update of technical architecture, standards and procedures;
  • Establish good working relationship with an external development team, co-operate with a dev team lead to plan properly the resources pool capacity and track their usage & deliverables.

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in Siebel Analytics (admin tool, dashboards, configuring dashboard, report level security, metadata tools and user interface designs) in large projects with an international manufacturing or industrial service company
  • 2 + years technical design experience on enterprise applications and data modeling
  • 3+ years of programming and administration experience with MS SQL databases including performance tuning
  • Proven knowledge in ETL tool, data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Experience in managing development of large systems; practical knowledge of project management methodologies and tools in multi-site international environment
  • Knowledge and experience of software life cycle process from design to codes verification, testing, implementation and upgrade
  • Good knowledge of FMCG company’s processes, especially, sales & trade marketing function
  • Experience of managing outsourced resources is desired
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g. Mercury Interactive) would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Design and implement the Company Siebel Analytics development standards and procedures which satisfy corporate strategy and global & local business needs and are applicable to a multi-site, multinational organization; participate in implementing an effective tool to monitor and control the development services provided by the 3rd party; timely communicate the status update, important potentials issues & risks to Global Development Center management.
  • Verify and approve the detailed technical designs for submitted the Siebel Analytics application, based on functional specs provided by Business Analysis group. The technical designs must follow Siebel Analytics better practices and architectural constraints defined by the system and data architects. The performance impact shall be always analyzed and included into the technical designs.
  • Liaise with Business Analysis team to cooperatively manage the Siebel Analytics support and change requests process, ensure that the functional specs are provided in time by Business Analysis team, the development is completed, validated and delivered for functional & UAT testing.
  • Ensure that technical specs documentation is regularly maintained and updated by the 3rd party; implement a document management process for Company Siebel Development materials, specifications, manuals.
  • Maintain the overall application development consistency: using the same naming conversation principles, indexing, aggregation, etc approaches, confirming the technical consistency with system and data architects.
  • Design and implement Company Siebel Analytics QA strategy, methods and approach for unit, integration and performance testing; plan and implement automated testing tools, build and maintain the library of testing cases.
  • Analyze the functional specs provided by Business Analysis team and recommend options regarding software development to meet Company corporate standards and policies & procedures, to ensure related business processes are efficient, effective and embody all appropriate internal controls.
