Position Overview
The Business Intelligence Technical Architect position will be responsible for the overall business intelligence technical architecture and product stack. The Technical Architect will work together with Delivery Managers to provide technical architecture solutions across all BI project engagements and infrastructure and product updates and capacity planning.
Role Description
As a technical architect, this role will entail technical design and architecture of BI solutions across BI Services Platform and close involvement in platform and project development as well as interaction with existing delivery managers in New York, London and Singapore, Product Vendors and the business users.
Responsibilities
Working in close coordination with BI Services Global Head of Delivery and BI Services Production Management group, the responsibilities within this role will include technical design and architecture across full lifecycle BI projects and capacity planning and platform upgrades.
Skills Required
- Experience in Business Intelligence architecture in enterprise environment
- project management experience
- Strong experience in Cognos
- Good knowledge of Datawarehousing, SQL and PL/SQL experience
- strong analytic power
- strong conceptual skills
- good communication skills
- fluent in English
- strong team work capabilities
Skills Desirable
- business knowledge in security business appreciated
